Growing Gratitude
Plantitude gives back to our community by donating a part of proceeds from our Plantitude Gardening and Home & Living range to local charities. We support a different charity every year and the charities will be featured here.
Our sustainable approach extends to every possible aspect of our organisation. At Plantitude, we grow our plants in-house and also source them from trusted local growers. We reuse and repurpose material as packaging such as cardboard boxes, paper bags and bubble wraps in order to minimise waste.
We hope that by upholding our responsibility to the environment and paying it forward to the people around us, we can cultivate a culture of gratitude and further our cause.
Zero Waste Packaging Policy
Plantitude is proud to be part of the Zero Waste Packaging Initiative which is a ground-up movement started to encourage businesses to adopt a circular packaging system, provide support and recognise businesses who reduce their waste through those means.
Local Charity for 2022/2023
LOVE, NILS provides support to children with cancer and their caregivers with much needed healthcare guidance, emotional care plus social and community support that will enable them to thrive.
THE CHALLENGE
Where do you even begin? Parents seeking treatment for their child have to find their way through complex, often puzzling healthcare systems. Both parent and child face immense challenges to their well-being, such as anxiety, isolation and depression. To stand a better fighting chance, families need guidance, emotional care, a strong community and other forms of support that some hospitals may not be able to fully provide.
THE WORK - Holistic support with a difference.
LOVE, NILS provides families with knowledge, resources and community support at every step of the way. We're the only non-profit in Singapore that raises funds to pay for Care Coordinators who guide patients and caregivers to receive the help they need.
We believe it takes a village to heal a child. And that's why we hold regular toy drives, events, school programs and hospital visits involving many dedicated individuals, to keep children and caregivers socially engaged, hopeful and resilient. This way, we know they're not alone in the fight.
