PRODUCT DETAILS

Plantitude Bottle Planter Range

Plantitude Bottle Planters are upcycled from wine, champagne and liquor bottles. Bottles are individually selected based on the colour, shape and glass thickness to match the intended finished product. After selection, they are professionally cut by a specialised glass artist/artisan and go through a process of grinding and polishing. They are suitable for succulents, fittonias, pothos and other small ornamental plants. Some designs are also suitable for growing herbs. They each come with a drainage hole to avoid roots becoming waterlogged.

Product Care: As bottles are fragile, please handle with care. Hand wash each bottle planter individually. Use a suitable detergent and water with a non abrasive sponge or cloth.

If the bottle planter comes with a label, do not soak the bottles as the labels might peel off.

Plantitude Concrete Range

Plantitude Concrete Range are launched in collaboration with by something_C O N C R E T E.

Air bubbles and irregularities occur naturally in concrete, giving these handcrafted pieces their unique outlook. Each piece is finished with a matt liquid repellent which seals the concrete surface. A layer of cork has been placed at the bottom to protect the planter, tray and your countertop.

Concrete Table Planters

The cement planters come in various colours and shapes as well as a drainage hole to avoid roots becoming waterlogged. They are suitable for little indoor plants, succulents or cactus.

Concrete Trays

The concrete trays are placed below the planters to catch excess water drainage, thus avoiding soggy soil conditions.

Product Care: Concrete is often assumed to be a really tough material. Yes, it is. However, concrete is also like clay, ceramic or even glass as a material. Concrete crafts can chip or break, thus we suggest careful handling. Rinse with water or clean with damp cloth when necessary.

PLANT CARE

Different types of plants that come with your planters will have different sunlight and water requirements.

Assorted Succulents

Succulents are generally low-maintenance house plants that can complement your interior decoration.  They come in varieties with strong, distinct leaf shapes and striking textures.

Sunlight: Place in bright, indirect sunlight. Rotate planter regularly so the leaves grow evenly.

Water: The succulents are planted with Plantitude gritty mix that provides good drainage and maintains the necessary moisture for the plants. Avoid wetting the leaves when watering. Ensure the whole surface is well watered.

Recommended: use a squeeze watering bottle with a narrow spout

Optional: Add 1 drop of HB101 plant essence to 1 litre of water

Drain out ALL the excess water through the drainage hole at the bottom/side (standing bottles or concrete pots) or spout (horizontal bottles).

Watering frequency: Water only when the gritty mix is dry to the touch. You can also observe the mix through the glass. If it is still damp, do not water as too much water can cause roots to rot.
